Island Rainbow in Dauphin Island

I haven’t been in years and really enjoyed the way the new eating area is set up. Friendly staff and good old Dutch ice cream!

Great pizza on an island with no other options. Price wise, it is not a ripoff like you find on many touristy beach locations. The service and staff were extremely nice.

This is truly homemade pizza. The pizza was fresh. There was a wide variety of toppings. Quant atmosphere. Great staff

Pizza is really good. However, they don't cut through the pizza making it difficult to separate the pieces. Price is very affordable. There is a really good selection of ice cream also. If your looking for slushies that have that also. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Ordered a large pepperoni, it was excellent. The crust was crispy and delicious. It had plenty of pepperoni and cheese on it. We will definitely order from here again.

This is one of my favorite pizza place. I had buffalo chicken pineapple pizza! The crust was crisp! Highly recommend!

A good place to stop to cool down before or after a day at the beach.

Great ice cream and snow cone

Super-fine shaved ice and a wide variety of flavors! Walk up window service and patio seating for sno-balls, so you can come straight from the beach. VERY reasonably priced and generous portions. I ordered a medium strawberry and couldn't finish it before it melted! Great summer treat. Or spring treat. Or just a treat.

If you are on Dauphin Island, you need to eat here. The pizza was awesome and the banana split was well worth the $7. The pizza is priced great as well. The only complaint I have is the snow cones, the flavor was on point but the syrup didn't get all the way to the bottom. In all if you dont eat here you are missing out.

The best food experience on the island hands down for me. My girls loved their ice cream and the pizzas were off the chain. Will definitely eat here again when I come back.

Was waiting in line and practicing social distancing per their instructions at 6:55pm. When the clock struck 7pm they said they were closing and left us hanging. Obviously they don't need the business if they couldn't wait another 2 minutes for me to get my child and ice cream.

The Smokehouse pizza was outstanding. A tad pricier than the average hometown pizzeria but it was loaded and super yum. We should have bought two, we'll worth it. This savory pizza was a perfectly, unique and island-worthy meal. During CV-19 the lobby is closed; the porch was unorganized and waaaaay too crowded. Need signage about where to pick up phone-ins and separate lines/areas. Maybe sling pizza out the back and sno-cones out the front. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤘

Not a bad place to eat.

Good cold treats they have nice deck to get out of the sun to enjoy icecream with the kids. Also has seating inside to enjoy some air conditioning after a long day at the beach or just enjoying the island on bicycles. The family and I enjoyed ourselves here.

Great beach town pizza. Quality ingredients. Consistent quality. We have been eating pizza here for almost 20 years. Never disappointed.

Customer service seemed kind of rusty but the ice cream and snow cones were delicious. They have a large selection of ice cream; sometimes they run out of stock on certain ice cream flavors though, so on a given day you may not be guaranteed the flavor you want. We spent about $8 in total.

Took over 45 minutes to get 4 scoops of ice cream. My wife's was completely melted. Mine still wasnt ready and took another 15 minutes and was melted when I got it. Several other frustrated customers were waiting a long time for their pizza orders and had their orders messed up.

My family and I go here every time we visit the island, we’ve never had a bad experience. Excellent food and service.

Best. Sno. Cones. EVER!

This place is always friendly and delicious. The prices are fair for what you get and everything always tastes great. We love to stop here for snow cones and twisters. The staff are always helpful and patient while you figure out what you are going to have. Service is quick and the quality is always high.

Good spot for Pizza and Ice Cream

Pizza is always worth the money! Try the dipping sauces! Very, very good!

Not good pizza. Dry as cardboard and only had about 6 pieces of pepperoni on a 15" pizza.There's got to be a better place on the island !

We went during a vacation at Dauphin island for ice cream. It was great I had mint chocolate and it was delicious and refreshing. But the line was very slow.

Excellent excellent pizza and ice cream! Worth every second of the wait! Pizza was super fresh and loaded down. I had lemon custard ice cream that was probably the best flavor I’ve ever tried! Thank you guys, the service was awesome!

Just ate here again after coming here for 20 years. Pizza was very reasonably priced and piled high with toppings. Best pizza on the island!

Pizza was delicious. There were plenty of toppings. We got there at 7, and the wait was about an hour. They did allow us to give a phone number and we left to go souvenir shopping down the street. Ice cream was also delicious but they run out of stuff early. By 8pm they had run out of 2 of the 12 or so flavors. Waffle cones were almost out by 9. The ice cream is home made, and you can tell. There was a long line starting around 8.Seating is limited but there was plenty of turnover because most of the people are there are for ice cream and snow cones.The only negative was mentioned by another reviewer: for some weird reason, they don't cut through the pizza all the way, and you had to tear burning hot pizza with your hands.

I just called to place an order for pick up and the phone is either off the hook or someone is on it. (I’ve tried 6 times). I drove over and went to the window and no one would come help me. I could see the employees in there talking, in a reflection in the mirror. Not sure what to think, y’all are still open for an hour according to what’s posted.

We just left there. One of the Better pizzas We have had. Really Good milkshakes. Good Groceries. Made our Valentines. Thank you ladies

Dropped in late and they were happy to serve us. Best pizza we've had in awhile and lots of ice cream options. Can't wait to stop by again.

The pizza and ice cream are awesome. Always seems to be a line, but worth the wait.

The ice cream was great tasting. It could have been a bit colder, it was melting pretty fast.

First time visitor to the island. Called around 6:30 PM to order pizza. Was told a lady to call back at 7. A male answered and began to take my order. However, someone told him they were taking anymore more pizza orders. I wasted 30 minutes waiting to call. Unfortunately, will never be able to review their pizza. We won’t call again.

Excellent experience, Ice cream was great! Wife and kids got shaved Ice, and said it was amazing. They also sell pizza, we had already eaten, but saw others with pies enjoying themselves.

Stopped here for homemade ice cream. Pretty good, I would recommend.

Yum yum - I was concerned that the island rainbow pizza would not be as good as it was in the past. I was wrong! It was wonderful. Go get you some now!
